The Scrúdú Teastas Mholtóra (A.D.C.R.G.) is the certification needed to qualify as an adjudicator for feiseanna within An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha. The examination is open to anyone 30 years of age or older at the date of application who are currently registered as a TCRG. and have been an active teacher while registered with CLRG for a period of 5 years since their first registration as a TCRG.

The examination consists of six sections:

1. Written ceili dancing test
   2. Written music test
   3. Practical test in adjudicating step and ceili dancing, including interview
   4. Written test on adding/transcribing marks, determining placements, and operating the official points system
   5. Oral Irish language test
   *Optional if candidate lives outside Ireland

The Scrúdú Scrúdaitheoir (B.G.) is the certification needed to qualify as a beginner grade examiner (grades 1 – 10) with An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha. The examination is open to anyone who is currently registered as an ADCRG for a period of 10 years at the date of application.

The examination consists of four sections

   2. Written Test
   3. Practical Examination Section
   4. Computer Skills Test
